Tyte & Bryte by Sciton® BBL isn’t a laser per se, but rather a flash lamp that produces wavelengths of light energy. These wavelengths vary in levels, making it more controllable and more powerful than other BBL/IPL devices, and just about any other product like it. In the past, the basic differentiating factor between standard BBL and resurfacing lasers was BBL addressed discoloration while lasers addressed texture. But with advances in modern cosmetic treatments and the advantageous factor that Tyte & Bryte is a combination of treatments, it not only fixes skin discoloration but the addition of SkinTyte promoting collagen growth smooths and tightens skin, enhancing both skin texture and elasticity.
Ideal candidates for a Tyte & Bryte treatment are women and men who experience skin irregularities on any part of the body. This treatment can be performed on all skin types, so long as patients do not have open lesions or is pregnant. Other than those contraindications, just about anyone is a good candidate for this state-of-the-art treatment.
Tyte & Bryte cannot provide the same results as a traditional facelift, but it will give you a more lifted appearance and skin tone and texture evenness. Further, it does not reduce or eliminate fat from the treatment area, but the lifted skin will give you an enhanced profile. Results from Tyte & Bryte are based on your body’s natural regenerative process, so results will be visible as your body heals. This will differ between patients, but on average, good results can be enjoyed after a couple of months.
A Tyte & Bryte treatment takes about 30 minutes and is performed in-office. The process begins by applying Tyte and Bryte BBL on the treatment areas to address sun damage, redness, age spots, broken capillaries, and other skin imperfections. Dr. Elizabeth Lee will then set SkinTyte to administer the appropriate wavelength to treat your specific case. The device delivers pulses of light energy and controlled heat to the top layers of skin which contracts and plumps the skin. This combination process stimulates skin cell renewal, collagen production to even skin tone, texture, discoloration, and add natural volume.
The exciting thing about Sciton® BBL is it's multiple functionalities. Not only is it used for Tyte & Bright, but additional applicators can be used for other cosmetic treatments. Sciton BBL gives surgeons the ability to perform numerous treatments in a single session, such as combining Tyte & Bright and ProFractional for luminous results, and even be used for these other treatments.
During your one-on-one consultation with Dr. Elizabeth Lee, you will have the opportunity to explain the concerns you have with skin discoloration or laxity. She will examine your skin and assess if you would benefit from Tyte & Bryte. If deemed a good candidate, she will explain the treatment from start to finish so you are fully aware of the process and what it entails.

The beauty of Tyte & Bryte: no downtime. Tyte and Bryte combination therapy is provided in 5 sessions at 2 week intervals. Post treatment side effects are minimal, such as slight redness of the face for a couple hours. In fact, most patients can return to work immediately after Tyte and Bryte, easily covering any redness with makeup. Beneficial effects may be apparent after a few treatments, but continue to develop through the course of therapy and for several months after completion of the protocol.
A single maintenance session every six months is recommended to maintain youthful, healthy, smooth, glowing skin.
